SOuth Africa votes against UN resolution calling for freedom of religion
Hot on the heels of the ANC government’s decision to ban his Holiness the Dahlia Lama from attending a peace conference in South Africa, our representative at the United Nation’s Human Rights Council has voted against a resolution on freedom of religion. Even serial human rights abusers like Saudi Arabia, Cuba and China had the decency to abstain.
